Business Profile

Your Business Profile is the most important thing you'll build in Purple Blossom. It's a 13-section deep dive into your business that powers everything else on the platform — AI insights, campaign recommendations, content generation, and growth suggestions.

What It Does

The Business Profile (called "Processes" in the sidebar) asks you structured questions about your business across 13 sections. As you complete each section, Blossom gains a deeper understanding of your business and provides increasingly personalized guidance.

The 13 Sections

  1. Company Overview — Business name, industry, description, website, location
  2. Your Background — Role, professional experience, key skills, what you love, biggest challenge
  3. Products & Services — What you sell, pricing, delivery method
  4. Target Customers — Who you serve, demographics, pain points, where they are
  5. Value Proposition — What makes you different, your competitive advantage
  6. Sales Process — How you find and convert customers today
  7. Marketing Activities — Current marketing efforts, channels, budget
  8. Goals & Objectives — Short-term and long-term business goals
  9. Challenges — Current obstacles and pain points
  10. Resources — Team, tools, budget, time constraints
  11. Competitive Landscape — Who else serves your customers, how you differ
  12. Brand & Messaging — Current brand voice, key messages, taglines
  13. Growth Vision — Where you want to be in 1, 3, and 5 years

Getting Started

You don't need to complete all 13 sections in one sitting. Start with the first two:

  1. Company Overview — Takes about 5 minutes. Gives Blossom basic context.
  2. Your Background — Takes about 5 minutes. Tells Blossom about you as a person.

With just these two sections, Blossom can start offering useful AI insights. Come back and complete more sections over the coming days and weeks.

AI Insights

As you complete sections, Blossom automatically generates insights based on what you've shared:

  • Observations about your business positioning
  • Suggestions for areas to explore further
  • Connections between different aspects of your business
  • Prompts for sections that would benefit from more detail

These insights appear in your Dashboard and in the AI Hub.

Progress Tracking

Your completion percentage appears in the sidebar and on the Dashboard. It updates in real-time as you fill in sections. There's no penalty for incomplete sections — but more completion means better AI personalization.

Quality over completion

It's better to deeply complete 5 sections than to rush through all 13 with shallow answers. Blossom's AI insights improve with depth, not just breadth.

Privacy & Security

Your business profile data is encrypted and tenant-isolated. Only you and the AI system can access it. Sensitive fields use field-level encryption. Your data is never shared with other users or used to train AI models.
