Solo Haven -- Local Groups

Running a business by yourself doesn't mean you have to be by yourself. Solo Haven connects you with other solopreneurs in your area through local, in-person meetup groups.

Finding Your Group

Browse groups near you or search by interest. Each group has a description, meeting cadence, and member count so you can find the right fit. If there isn't a group in your area yet, you can start one.

Meetings and Reminders

When a meeting is scheduled, you'll receive automatic reminders so it never slips through the cracks:

  • 24 hours before — a heads-up to plan your day
  • 1 hour before — time to wrap up and head out
  • 15 minutes before — a final nudge if you're still at your desk

Reminders arrive as in-app notifications, keeping you informed without cluttering your inbox.

Calendar Integration

Subscribe to your group's meetings with the iCal feed export. Add the feed URL to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app that supports iCal. Meetings sync automatically — no manual entry required.

Handouts and Resources

Organizers can attach handouts to any meeting. Worksheets, agendas, reading lists, or slide decks — anything that helps the group get more out of their time together. Members can download handouts before or after the meeting.

QR Codes

Each meeting generates a QR code that organizers can display at the venue. Attendees scan it to check in, access the meeting details, or download handouts on the spot.

Discussion Threads

Every meeting has its own comment thread for follow-up conversation. Share takeaways, ask follow-up questions, or post links that came up during the discussion. The conversation doesn't have to end when the meeting does.

Organizer Analytics

If you run a group, the analytics dashboard gives you a clear picture of how things are going:

  • Attendance trends — are meetings growing or shrinking?
  • Engagement — how active are members in discussions?
  • Group growth — new members over time

These insights help you understand what's working and what to try next.

Starting a Group

Anyone can create a Solo Haven group. Give it a name, set a location, describe what the group is about, and schedule your first meeting. The platform handles reminders, calendars, and discussion threads so you can focus on building real connections.
